About Us
I established Catrin Evans Consultancy in 2020, having worked in the fields of nature conservation, green infrastructure and countryside access for twenty five years.
During this time I have progressed from site based countryside management and ecological services, to advisory and training, through to fundraising, project development and management. For the latter part of my career, I've taken on a strategic and managerial role in the public sector, with a strong interest in partnership development, allowing me to influence and oversee delivery of services at a much wider scale. I believe passionately in taking action for climate change and biodiversity decline, and enjoy working with organisations in meeting this agenda.
Although initially trained and educated in the field of nature conservation, I have a keen interest in people's connection with the natural environment and I have a proven track record in delivering projects that make improvements in this field. Local to South Wales and a native Welsh speaker, I have particularly enjoyed involvement in projects that benefit our Welsh communities. Having successfully developed funding and improvement strategies, secured the necessary funding and project managed the delivery of local and regional projects, I'm pleased to be able to use these skills to support like minded organisations in delivering on their ambitions.
